Let's start with the local specialties: (nicely burnt) yak steak and momos - steamed dumpling filled with chicken or vegetables most of the time (meat is rare at higher altitudes).
Commencons par les specialites locales : steak de yak (bien cuit !) et les momos - sorte de gros raviolis vapeur fourres au poulet mais plus souvent aux legumes (la viande est rare en general et quasi inexistante en altitude).
Pas de trek au Nepal (et sans doute dans les pays voisins) sans dal bhat ! Une assiette tout en un : riz, soupe de lentilles, curry de legumes (toujours pas trop de viande) et parfois quelques legumes marines.
No trek in Nepal (and probably in the neighbouring countries) without dal bhat! An "all in one" plate: rice, lentil soup, vegetables curry (still not much meat there) and some pickles. 
Et pour terminer, une petite selection des autres plats qui nous ont permis d'avancer !

Nous avons pris la branche de droite, celle qui nous a mene au camp de base de l'Everest et au sommet du Kala Pathar le lendemain.
For those following, we've taken the right hand side path, leading to the Everest base camp and the summit of Kala Pathar the next day.

It's said to be one of the scariest flights and landing strips on earth. Well, I guess we got lucky twice as both flights took place as planned and the weather was great, giving us amazing views of Kathmandu and of the Everest range. (the panorama below was taken from the Kathmandu- Delhi flight though).
Il parait que ce vol - et l'aeroport, sont parmi les plus dangereux. Nous avons eu de la chance : nos 2 vols ont decolle (plus ou moins) a l'heure et le temps etait superbe a l'aller comme au retour.
Le panorama ci-dessous a ete pris du vol Katmandou-Delhi, d'ou l'altitude et la vue impressionnante sur les montagnes).

Nous avons parcouru, grimpe et fait / we've walked, climbed and made :

En haut, l'Ama Dablam. "Seulement" 6812m mais peut-etre la plus belle montagne du coin. En-dessous, l'Everest (8848m) un matin ensoleille mais un peu venteux !

Il fallait bien 3 pizzas maison (merci Darko) et 3 copines pour se commencer a se remettre de nos aventures et regarder 500 photos (vs. 3000).
3 home made pizzas (thank you Darko) and 3 good friends were just enough to start recovering from our trek and go through a small selection of 500 pictures (vs. 3000).

Un incroyable ciel bleu sans un nuage, des agneaux adorables, des vaches qui nous ont fait accelerer le pas, le tout en tres bonne compagnie. Merci Marinette !
An incredible cloudless blue sky, the cutest lambs ever, some cows that made us walk a bit faster for a while, all in great company. Great day out!

Aucune excuse valable a proposer.
Pour me faire pardonner, voici la nouvelle vue que j'ai depuis mon bureau : nous avons demenage a St Pancras Square fin janvier. Et en attendant qu'un bâtiment Google nous bouche cet horizon, la gare de King's Cross puis St Paul et le Shard tout au fond au milieu, et la City a gauche.

No real excuse to offer.
To be forgiven, here is the view I have from my new office: we moved to St Pancras Square late January.
And while waiting for a Google building to block the view, I can admire day in and day out King's Cross station in the foreground, St Paul and the Shard in the middle background, and the City to the left.
